Sinker EDM
Cavities and internal shapes made with an electrode, even in hardened steel.

About the service
In sinker EDM, an electrode, usually copper or graphite, erodes the part with electrical discharges until it reproduces its shape. It creates cavities, blind slots and internal shapes that a conventional cutting tool cannot reach.
It is a common process in mold and die making. It works on hardened steel as well as softer materials, as long as they conduct electricity. Send us your drawing with the material and the required hardness.
