Cylindrical grinding

Outside diameters ground to close tolerances and a fine finish.

About the service

Cylindrical grinding brings outside diameters to their final size with an abrasive wheel, after turning or hardening. It also helps control roundness and surface finish.

It is a common final step for shafts, pins and bearing seats with fits such as h6 or h7. On hardened parts, it corrects the distortion left by the heat treatment. Send us your drawing with the required tolerances and finish.
